Are you an experienced HR Manager Looking to lead your next Team ?

Our client is seeking a highly organised and process-driven HR Manager to lead and strengthen Human Resources operations across a multicampus College. With approximately 200 staff across three locations, this role is critical in ensuring that strong, efficient, and compliant HR frameworks are in place to support the daily needs of all employees.

This position is ideal for an HR professional who excels in building systems, developing clear policies, and embedding efficient processes—particularly in onboarding, induction, and workforce lifecycle management. You will join a values-driven school community where your work has a meaningful impact on the broader educational environment.

About your next role:

In this role, you will lead a small team consisting of a Payroll Officer and an HR Administrator to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining HR policies and frameworks aligned with NT legislation and child safety requirements.
  • Designing and implementing a comprehensive onboarding and induction framework to ensure a professional experience for new staff.
  • Building repeatable processes for recruitment, probation, and contract management that scale across the workforce.
  • Reviewing and streamlining existing workflows to remove duplication and reduce administrative burden.
  • Overseeing HR recordkeeping, reporting, and audit readiness to ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
  • Managing employment contracts, variations, and position descriptions.
  • Supporting workforce planning and the annual talent development cycle through accurate data and process design.
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS obligations and mandatory reporting requirements.

What you will need to bring:

To be successful in this role, you will have a calm, professional approach and the ability to lead a team effectively. We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in HR operations, compliance, or systems.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing formal HR procedures and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in designing or improving onboarding and induction processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities.
  • The ability to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery across multiple campuses.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated HR experience.
  • Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
  • National Police Check.

What you will get in return:

In addition to a competitive salary of $130,000 to $150,000, you will enjoy significant benefits including 6 weeks of annual leave and salary packaging options. You will have access to professional development opportunities, a staff discount for children attending the College, and flexibility to support your work-life balance. You will also have access to our Free Employment Assistance program.
